The rise in crude oil and natural gas production volumes across the region has increased reliance upon pipeline infrastructure and increased risks of oil and gas leakages across the network - supporting the growth of pipeline technologies to the market. Technologies include fibre optic cables, acoustic and cable sensors, drone technologies, among others. In particular, there have been recent advancements in leak detection and new monitoring technologies for operators to manage their networks better.

With advanced technology, investigation of emerging opportunities, and innovative strategies in place, institutional investors and operators can make better investment decisions in pipeline technologies to improve operational efficiency.
